NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that SECTIONS in the undermentioned towns will be submitted to Public Auction at the places and hours herein specified : — Sections in Naseby and Komako Towns will be offered for sale at the Courthouse, Naseby, on FRIDAY, the 28th day of October, 1898, at 11 a.m. Sections in Arrowtown and Arrowtown Extension will be offered for sale at the Courthouse, Arrowtown, on FRIDAY, the 28th day of October, 1898, at Noon. Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, 26th September, 1898. 29s Pomalialca Downs Estate* TVTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Section -L^l 21, Block XIII, Pomahaka Downs Estate, containing 319 acres 38 poles, will be open for application on the lease in perpetuity system under the Land for Settlements Act on MONDAY, the 7th day of November, 1898, at a halfyearly rental of £23 19s. This Section is mostly all agricultural land, consisting of long flat ridges and rolling downs, good heavy black soil, well watered and sheltered. Situated about 10 miles from Clinton. Valuation for hut and fencing, payable with application or immediately the result of the ballot is declared, £62 3s. The successful applicant for this Section will also be liable for half cost of fences on the boundaries between Section 21 and Sections 12, 14, 45, and 60. An area of 57 acres of this Section was sown in turnips last season, and produced an excellent crop. The turnips were fed off with sheep, leaving the land in good heart for a crop this incoming season. Possession will be given day of sale. Full particulars can be obtained at this office. J. P.
