An excellent example of Jariowski's style against the original and powerful defence of the Russian champion. The middle game is full of interest, and the finish was brought about by a brilliant sacrifice soon after the 40th move: — Buy Lopez.

And quite outplays the Berlin master, whose erratic methods from the beginning have been much commented upon —
