HUGHES— LEE.— On the 20th July, at the residence of the bride's sister, Scotia street,. Port Chalmers, Jeanie, youngest daughter jf David Lee, Port Chalmers, to Charles D. Eton Hughes, fifth son of the late Richard D. Hughes, of 45 Mecklenburgh square, Londoo. SPEIGHT— BROWN.— On the 17th August, 1898, at the residence of the bride's mother, by the Rev. James Gibb, Charles, eldest on of the late James Speight, to Jessie M., eldest daughter of the lafce Thomas Brown.
