DUNEDIN FANC IERS CLUB.
At a fully-attended committee meeting of the Dunedin Fanciers' Club, held in Mr Myers's rooms, Octagon, Mr R. Ferguson presiding, the secretary reported that entries had come in freely during tho week, including poultry, pigeons, canaries, and dogs, and that altogether 63 entries had been received for collies. Ihe club anticipate having the finest show of collies ever held in the colony. Some valuable birds have also been entered. Mr Charles 3ills's offer to fit up the poultry peii3 and dog coops, also to attend to the feeding of the birds and flogs, was accepted, and the committee feel sure that every justice will be done to them. Mr Roberts, of Abbotsfoicl, has promised to have his incubator working at show time, and vi&itors will have tho plea&uie of teeing the birds hatching. Severn! entries have been received for the best table fowls, to be shown alive and then plucked and trussed. Thirteen entries have been received for children's pets, including canaries, pigeons, guinea-pigs, etc. Mr Hydo, the newly-ap-pointed Government poultry expert, has promised to deliver a lecture on "Poultry as a Source of Profit" to farmers and others during the show.
