DREDGING RETURNS.
Mr R. T. Wheeler, jun., manager of the Golden Terrace Dredging Company (Limited), reports a return of 720z 13dwt of retorted gold for fortnight ended August 13. He also reports receiving a telegram from the dredgemaster of the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Co., of which he is manager, advising a return of 15oz for 130 hours. Mr Jabez Burton reports : —The Ettnck dredge washed up for aboiit five clays' work 12oz gold. The dredge has been undergoing repahs to her machinery.
