GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs "Wm. E. Esynolds and Co., Bonci Street, report for week ending August 10 as follows : —
Wheat. — There is little to advise, unless it be that advices from all parts of the world denote a falling market. We quote nominally ■ Prime velvet, 4s 7d ; tuscaii, 4s sd ; red sorts, 4s to 4s 3d; fowl feed up to 3s 3d for prime whole.
Oats are not meeting with the demand that "was expected, and values of feed lines especially aic easier. Seed lines continue in good demand at up to 2s lOd ; prime milling, up to 2s 4d ; foe^t feed, 2s Id to 2s lid; ordinary, Is lid to 2s.
Potatoes. — The supply is a little heavier, and top price to-day for prime is £7.
Chsff. — Most of what is offering is only medium quality, which meets with oniy a fair demand at from £3 to £3 7s 6d, while prime sells .readily at up to £3 15s. Seeds. — Wo. beg to remind our many customers that we have a large stock of all classes of seed oata, grass seeds, and clovers, colonial and imported, and .shall be glad io book orders at lowest ruling rates.
