The New Gainea Land Syndicate intend to give Australians an opportunity of subscribing locally.

Melbourne, July 25.

Sir George Turner (Premier of Victoria) has informed the Queensland Government that if they persist in agreeicg to the New Guinea Ordinance it will be difficult to persuade the people of Victoria to contribute to the oost of the administration of New Guinea.
