Messrs Rejishardt and Co. (near railway station) report as follows- —

Rabbitskins. — Market remains very firm, but values are unaltered, last week's prices being fully maintained. One lot only exceeded last week's highest quotation, owing to a little pique between some of the buyers and not to any legitimate advance. Certainly the lot in question was an exceptionally fine one. Supplies are still snort of requirements, due to the large exportation of frozen -rabbits".; but the poisoned skins from the back country are now starting to come m, and should soon facilitate the filling of our orders Sheepskins. — No change in values of last week, but 'market firm, with large business passingHides— All weights, but particularly stout ox, are in good demand at late rates. We ha\ r e orders for all coming forward at top prices. Fat.— Good inquiry for both rough and rcndeied at last week's prices. Hair, 14id to 15d for clean tail.

Fruit. — Oranges: Market was well supplied since our last report; Sydney, 6s 6d to 8s 6d; Tahiti, 7s 6d to 9s; Mildura, landing Saturday. Lemons : 8s 6d to 15s. Bananas : Green, 2d; ripe, 2Jd. Mandarins, 6s 9d to lls. Pears: Dessert, 3-} dto 4£d; cooking, 2j|d to 3d. Apples. Cookers, 2d to 2Jd; dessert, 2kl to 3d; Tasmanian S.Prn., 9s 6d to lls; F.C., 9b 6d; S.P., 9s. Tomatoes: Hothouse, 4d to 6d. Pineapples, 3s to 4s per dozen. Peanuts, walnuts, figs, dates in stock at market rates. Produce. — Eggs very short supply. Butter: Fresh, 8d to lOd; salt (prime), 7£d to BJd (little inquiry). Cheese- Factory, 44 J a d to 4Jd; Akaroa and farmers' wanted. Bacon- Roll, bid to 7d. Hams . "We have inquiry for supply. Pjgs, 4d to -lid. Beeswax, Is 5d to Is da (wanted). Poultry.— Sales every day at top prices. Potatoes.— Kidneys for seed wanted, Derwents, £7 10s to £8.
