At the inquest a verdicb of "Accidental dcatb " was returned.- Beaumont had evidently diad from & fall, and M'Geoch from exposure. Chief Defective Chryslall and Detective Marsack, Christchurch, entered the alleged betting shops of Martin Taylor and J. Higgins, turf commission agents, seizing all the books and papers on the premises referring to turf transactions. No arrests were made, but further developments ara anticipated.
