CONSUMPTION OR PHTHISIS
Is a constitutional wasting disease in which the lungs are gradually destroyed by morbid depoeits of tubercle and consequent ulceration. To the bacilli of these deposits Townend's Cinnamon Cube is highly antagonistic, and in the early stagei of the disease ia sufficiently powerful fco overcome nud destroy the germs on which the progress of the disease depends. Apart from this the valuable soothing properties oE the cure are such, as to speedily allay the racking cough and so promote the patienfc'q recovery.
