EXHIBITION NOTES.
In connection with the foithcoming Jubilee Industrial Exhibition we may mention thab the Musical and Entertainments Committee have engaged Signer Borzjni, who is to organise a magnificent Bpectacular performance to ba g'.veu ab intervals with variations and additions throughout ths term of exhibition. Signor B.nzoni is to leave Christchnrch early next weskv and he will vequire the s,st>i3'.ancs o? a number of ladits and children, who will ba invited to co-cperate with him. The spectacular displays that Siguoc Borzoni has alrendy organised have been received with much favour, but h-3 bus nob yeb in Nevv Ze.sla.nd had opportunity of giving his taleuts fr^-a scope, «uch as he ha=i had on tho Continent of Europe. It is expected that the reaulb of hia Kbours in bhi? instance will produce a epecbacle such as has never before been seen in the colony. At meetings of the respective committees ib was resolved to advertise for tenders, as soon as the specifications coald be drawn up, for refreshment rooms, tea kiosk, catalogues, and daily prograimn s. The consideration of designs for medals and certificates, and the dies in connection with the fir<rt-name>l, has be°,n d-ferred till Monday next. 'i hs names of Mr Charles Haynea and Blr J. W. Brintlsy have been added to bhe Exhibition. General Committee.
