Mr A. G. Fenwick supplies the following extracts from head office report received by him for week ending December 8 :—: —

Smelting Plant.— Five furnaces in operation. No. 6 furnace : Foundation awaiting receipt of ironwork.

New Smelting Plant. — Commencement of excavation in progresa at junction of , slag dump level and "Abt" siding. Converter Plant.— 4330 tons of blister copper consigned to date, being 1065 tons for tin current half : year ; total production to date, 4459 ton?. Enlargement of Converter Plant. — Concrete foundation for extra sets ; boilers nearing completion.
