Dhceuder 27. — The Ettrick dredge shut down on Friday last for the Christmas holidays, lhe wash-up for less than four days being Bnz lSJwt. The return for the previous week was 7 02.
The Bengerbuin dredge for a fortnight's work obtained 9oz.
The Pleasant Valley' Gold-mining Company washed down on Thursday for £sjz for stven days At a meeting of dhectors in the evening a dividend of 43 per share was declare. d.
The Otago Dredging Company, for five days' work obtained 290z 15dwt.
The G.'Lien Gate Dredging Company for the tame time obtained 9.>zsdwt.
The secretary of the Golden Ten ace Dredging Company reports a teturn of 450z 9Jwt 6<;r retorted goll ftom December It to December 24 for one dredge. On account of the holidays work has been stoppsd till January 3, when a start will be made to bring the other dredge on to the claim.
