Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. rerort-aS" follows :— Our sale this week was held on Friday, on account -of to-morrow being' Christmas Day. The entries were not numero- s, consisting of a few light harness sorts— mostly of inferior quality. There was a small attendance of buyers, due probably to the f*ct that most of our countryclients would prefer waiting unt;l after the holidays to mak-i purchases. Considering the poer selection of horses, a fair amount of business was transacted, and the prices ruling were quite up to quotations. Our next sale will be held on Friday, the 3Ut December. "We Quote : — First-class young draught mares and geldings, £35 to £40; good do, £28 to £33; medium draught mares and geldings, £20 to £25 ; a."«d do, £12 to £18 ; first-class hack and lightharness horses, £18 to £25 ; good do, £12 to £17 : medium do, £7 to £10 ; aged and infeiior, £2 to £5.
