E»en his name proves a source of mirtb, and he likes to relate the blunders its oddity has occasioned. Once, when going to dine at a fashionable mansioD, he was accosted by the butler : " What name, sir ?" "Prinnep." " What name, sir?" " Prins-ep," with emphasis. Great w«s the aitist's amusement when he - was announced pompously as " Prince Hepp ! "
