PRICK PER LB AND CWT ON APPLICATION. NIMMO & BLAIR'S "STANDARD" SWEDE, "We have pleasure in introducing an Improved Strain of Purple Top Swede, selected by ourselves two wears ago, which we are convinced is very superior to the Best of Swedes now on the Market. The Stock was selected isom a good old variety of Scotch Purple Top, and from trials made with it alongside other Swedes, we claim for k it psirdness of flesh and quality very fine. The individual roots are particularly heavy, of beautiful shape, with small top jpid small tapering root. Our stock of * fc " Swede is limited this year, and we would advise Swede growers to secure a trial lot to compare with other varieties. I§ per Ib. TAIT'S B3E3SST OS* ALL S-^^7-3E333E:. Since this Swede was introduced by the Agricultural Department of the New Zealand Government, so many have "been the inquiries that 'we have been induced to stock it. From experience of it here we are convinced this variety is a 6tep in advance of many of the types o£ Purple Tops grown. It is of fine shape, with small neck and fine tap root, good colour, and is an excellent keeper. This is a tnie stock direct from the grower. Bs per Ib. Webb's Imperial Purple Top Swede. It is claimed for thia variety that it is the hardiest, heaviest cropper, and a very nutritious variety, thriving on all soils and growing to a great size. Keeps well through the "Winter. fi§ per Ib, All Hie Year Round— Yellow. This is a particularly good Strain of Yellow Hybrid, with a hardy Constitution, which is suited to exposed locali- ' ties. It is a free grower, coming in early to maturity, and in the milder districts of New Zealand it may be safely sown nlmost the whole year round. Tfiis strain of Turnip we have direct from the grower in the south of England. @<I per Ib. SEED MERCHANTS AND GROWERS, DUITEDIIT.
