DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.

The monthly mneting of the Duntdin Jtckey Club, he!d last Thursday, was attended by the Hon. G. M'Lean (in the chair), Messrs Stephenson, Meenan, G.urley, SolomoD, Grindley, D&wson, Mills, and Miller.

A circular letter from the Chairman of the Racing Conference, calling attention to the state of the unpaid forfeit l'st, was received, and it wa3 rssolved te send circulars to country clubs requesting them to carry out rule 44-.

The General Manager of Railways wrote stating that the Minister for Railways (Hon. A. J. Cadman) would endeavour to visit the club's ground at Wmgatui early next year, and meet and discuss with the committee the question of the railway siding to the courre. A transfer of br 0 Battlefield from M. Hobbs to T. C. White was passed.

J. B. Blee, who had his license suspended for misconduct at last Winton meeting, wrote applying to be reinstated. — The secretary was instructed to refer Blee to the Winton CJub.

The Secretary of the Roxburgh Club wrote stating that the club had removed the dirqualification from William Johnson. — Endorsed.

Thomas Thompson wrote appealing against the Taieri Club's decision in regard to his protest against Victim at their last meeting. — The secretary was instructed to inform Mr Thompson that as this is a question of fact the Dun.-

edin Jockey Club cannot consider any appeal, as it is against the rules.
