GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report' that prices ruled as under at their auction sale on Monday : —
Oats— We offered linen of medium to good feed, which met with fair c nipetition, and were quitted at 1* 8d to Is 10J. We quote : Prime milling. Is lid to 2s Id ; good to best feed, Is 9d to Is lOd ; medittm, Is 8d to Is BJd per bufehel (sacks extra).
Wheat —We submitted several grades of fowl wheat. Best wholewheat was well cjmpeted for, aud sold at 3* 6d to 3s-7Jd. Other sorts are not in strong demand, and sell at : For medium whole vwh*"at, 3« tq 3i 4d ; broken and inferior, 2s to 2s 9<l per bushel (sacks in).
Chaff.— Our catalogue comprised several trucks of good to prime quality. Owing to the facfe that the market i* somewhat bare, theie was good competitiou, and prime realised JC3 7a 6d to £3 15s ; medium to good, £3 to £3 5s per tou (bags extra).
