GOLF

Tha St. Andrew's Club played their final monthly medal match for the year on the 11th. The weather was all that could be desired, and a closs contest resulted in a win for Mr F. Williams with a score of 91, the next best cards handed in beiug Me F. Stokes 93, Mr W. H. Ferens 94, Mr T. Spiers 08, Mr W. Houston 99. This medal has now been competed for 12 times, and has been won by Mr F. Williams on four occa*ious, Messrs T. Spior», S. Stoke», and R. Smith twice, and " Meisri J. H. John* stou, and W. Houston once each.
