Mr A. G. Fenwick supplies the following extracts from head office report received by him for week ending November 27 :— Smelting Plant.— Five furnaces in operation. Excavation for foundation of sixth furnace well in hand ; erection of matte storage shed on slag dump in progress. New Smsliing Plant : Beginning made with excavations for same. New Laboratory —Foundations for same commenced. Limestone Quarry*— Four storage bins completed, and being filled. No. 4 Loco : Assembled and now running ; giving every satisfaction. Converter Plant.— 4010 tons of blister copper consigned to date, being 745 tons for the current half-year ; total production to date, 4170 tons.
