The Hiuemca, which h«ia returned from the outlying islands, brings reports that firs m«n of Hatch's Macquarie Island penguin oil party left one landing place for another in a boat on the 9i.h November, that it capsized, and that four of tbe boat's crew named Wright, M'Kinnon, Hooper, and Mitchell were drowned. Tha Hineraoa ftneouutftred bad weather and much sc». All Hatch's men ciraa from Duucdin and thereabouts. M'Kinuon wai the son of a former hotelkeeper at Tapanui.
