GERMANY AND CHINA.
London, November 30. a Renter's messages state that Germany demands an indemnity of 200,000 taelß ,for the erection of s. cathedral and the degradation of the Governor of Shantung ; also a railway monopoly in the Province of. Shantung and the occupation of Kaio-chau as a coaling station.
China has declined to dinsues the demands until Kaio-chaubas been evacuated.
December 2.
The Standard states - that Germany is sending three first-class cruisers and seven other warships and 4000 men to Kiao-chau Bay.
- Shanghai, December 3.
China has offered to agree to arbitration with reference to Germany's demands for the execution of the murderers of missionaries in the Shan-tung Peninsula and the payment of an indemnity and the cost of the German occupation of Kiao-chau. The Russian Government declined to intervene between the two countries.
