Laing— Patfrson.— On the 29fch September, 1897, at Roseholm, the residence of the bride's brother, by the Rev. 11. R. M. Sutherland, James Miller, third sou of John W. Laing, Hillgrove, Brockville, to Charlotte Elizabeth, only daughter of Walter Paterson, Grendon, Maori Hill. Crust— Smith.— On the 13th September, 1897, by the Rev. J. Gibson Smith, at the residence of the bride's parents, Elvore, Appleby, Invercargill, Jessie Hamilton, eldest daughter of Mr A. Smith, to George Henry, eldest ton of Mr H. Crust, Montpollier. Dunedin. Borne— Smith.— On the 13fch September, 1897, by the Rev. J. Gibson Smith, at the residence of . the bride's parent', Elvore, Appleby, luvercargill, Margaret, youngpst daughter of Mr A. Smith, to Charles Edward, second son of Mrs Elizabeth Borne.
