I do not get Mis Weldon's book, so I cannot say in what number of it one appears. (2) The jam tart-> you describe are made of puff paste, and baked in p*lty tin 1 ?, the jam being put in after they are baked. (3) For every-day wear sailor bats with very nigh crowns, either small or beefeater shape. Also a new form of the alpine hat with rather wider biiin and higher crown than la«t year. Canvas hats are v-M-y new and delightfully light. The large "flower garden" hat in str.iw, chiffun, or lace, loaded with flowers, is the shapj for dressy occasions. (4) Gieen and, shades of heliotrope; white ovor colour will be much worn.
