BANQUET.

The visiting delegates were the guests of the Loy*l Tuapeka Pioneer Lodge at a banquet which was held in the Victoria Hotel, when the usual toasts wera honoured, and a good programme of vocal and instrumental mu*ic and recitations was provided, a thoroughly enjoyable evening being spent. About 80 sat down to the supper, which was furnished by Host Montgomery in a manner whioh deservedly elicited expressions of approval.
