HINDON MINING NOTES. (From Our Own Correspondent.)
September 20.— All the young men in tb.B district are in full woik at the diffeient qu.ntz reefs that are being developed at Baiewoiri, M'Phee's Point, and Hindon. Two sores have just opened at Buewood. and a boarding house is to be opened shortly to supply the wants of the 40 or 5'J miner.i who arc now at work there.
The Johannecbuig and New Zealand Exploration Company are putting in two levels to cut the reef they h"lfl the option of— the G.O.M. The manager, Mr "Wilkinson, bas lately paeged off and applied for thu ground the hotel stands on, as ho intends later on to put a drive in under it on the line of reef.
The Knteiprise Gold Dredßing Company has declared a dividend (tbe twelf b) of la per share.
The gener.il nunager of tho Bine Spur and Gabriels Gully Consol d,v*e<l G>M Cjii'pany reports that the clean up for the August quarter finished yesterday, and produced 790 z -1220z more than the corresponding quarter of las) year.
The abridged pip3pectus of tbe Fouiteen-nnle Beach Gold J>redging Company (Limited), which is promoted for the pnipose of ccquirins; and working a dredging claim on the Molyneux river, about half a mile above Gorge Cieek, appears el-ewhere.
