Carpenter.— lv sad and loving memory of our dear nioiht r, Mary Ann Carpenter, of Gavershani, who died September 20, 1891 ; aged 63. The trial was bard, the shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. Though crutl Death has snatched from view A loving mother, kind and true, D«>ath cannot from our minds efface Her loving smile and gentle face. Her words, her action, are not dead, But iv our hearts are daily read. — Inserted by her sorrowing family.
