The weekly meeting of the Land Board, held on Wednesday, was attended by Messrs J. P. Mftitland (chief commissioner), H. Clark, W. Dallas, J. Duncan, and 11. 11. Eirkpatiick.
Maniototo. — Permission was granted to P. Ryftii and K. Ryan, on the application of Messra Inder aud Cuiten. to remove fenc'.ng upou sections 11 and 14", block XVI, Maniototo di-strict. Aiidgowan Estate. — Hanger Hughau forwarded Vtiluati'>n ot improvements on section 105, Aidg--wan estate, lately forfeited by J. A. Rollings. — Valuation (£27 16i Id) approved. When reopened to be- grouped with se.-.tion 104. An application by TNI. Docherty for a lease of section 105, Ardgowan estate, was declined. Ranger AtkiriEon forwaided valuation of the imp; overrents on section 104, Ardgowan estate, lately surrendered by Jam en Gibbons —Valuation (£152 3s Id) approved. The wheat crop to be valued seven doys before sections were op&ued for application. Valuation to be added to the sum namsd. Section to be giouped with H's. Lakh Wanaka. — It auger Mackenzie havinc reported upon an appl'cutiou by A. Wilson for a li< ense to occupy Manuka and Crescent Island*, Lalw Wanaka, the board decliueii the application, the property being under the contiol of the Domain Board.

Kawarau District. — Thos. Kirn oss applied for a lease in perpetuity over 72 acres of block 111, Kawarau district, rmiholdei'a consent having been obtained. — Hefirred to Hanger Mackeuzie for report as to cipital value of land.
