CONCERT AT SINDYMOUNT.
A very eujojablc and successful concert was held in aid of tho Ilifle Club in the Voluuteer Hall, ot Sauclymount, last Friday evening. Mr Wm. Henderson occupied the chair. Among those nho assisted with solos— local and instrumental—were Misses Butßsidc, Brim' on, Dick, G»liichan, Hutcheon, and Riddel!, and Messrs Anderson, Morris, and Wilson The .songs were well lendered, and tho violin solo by Miss Ilutchcon and piano solo by Miss I'urnside were also thoroughly appreciated. Miss Burnside and Mr Bruntou acted eHiciently as accompanists. Tliq second part of the piogramine consisted of a vi-ry laughable farce, entitled ''All in a Fo.e," and the different cb.aractei'3 were admirably sustained by Mr D. Nyhon and his confreres. This concluded the concert, and the hall was then cleared for tho dance which followed. Tho Rifle Club Committee dcssivo praire for the successful manner in which all the arrangements weie carried out. Suppsr was served later on iv the evening, and was ;i credit to the committee. Dancing was kept up till the " sma' 'ooi\?," and thus concluded a, at least financially, successful evening.
