If observed in the early stages, inject tepid water into the stomach and pump it oufc again, if possible, to empty it or produce vomiting; then give 2tb Epsom salts dissolved in water, adding lib trea-.-le and 2oz pulverised ginger; give slowly. After this medicine has acted, follow it up by frtimulwnts and tonics. As a preventive, hungry cattl* should nover be allowed to feed oh pasture where tutu is pleutiful. A corronpondeat a work or two ago wrote to the Witness to say that he had had good results by adiiiinittering a gill ef kerosene in half a bottle of lukewarm water.
