Malcolm- M'Callutn, of Edendale, for 40 yearn a resident in the district;, who loet his license when reduction was carried in tbe Mataura district three years i»go, was to-day fined £15 for selliDg whisky without a license. He sdmitted the charge, and stated that he purchased the two bottles of whisky found on his premises from a local hotelkeeper, so the revenue did not suffer.
