The Record School Committee Chairman.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — In your issue of the 15 'h iust. I notice a short paragraph itatimg that a certain gentleman at Tuturau has held the position of chairman of the school committee for 18 consecutive years. This is knocked into insignificance by Berwick, where Mr R. B. Tweiftree has held the position of chairman of school committee for SO years in succession '. Surely this top* the list. — I am, fee, Berwick, July 23. Maobilaxder.
