EXPEDITION AGAINST THE DERVISHES. Cairo, July 6, Sir- H. Kitchener has left Cairo for the fi-ont, preparatory to the advance of the Auglo 7 Egyptian expedition against the dervisheß upon Abu Hamed, Upper Nile. July 8. The Anglo-Egyptian expedition will, if there should be sofficient water in the Nile to allow the gunboats to pass intervening cataracts, attack the dervishes' position at Abu Hamed on the 30th.
London, July 8. News from the Eastern Soudan states that the Baggaras ara the only Bection of the dervishes who ar« now supporting the Khalifa.
