RAIL CHARGES ON FROZEN MEAT.
Invercahgicl, Jaly 9. The following cable was forwarded by the Southland Frozen Meat Company on the sth insb. to the Premier in London : — " Shippiog companies have greatly reduced freights on frozen meat. Hope you will do likewise railway freight. Anxious for reply by cable." No reply has yet been received.
