TAHUNA PARK TROTTING MEETING. The first day's racing in connection with the Tahuua Park Record litign Trotting meeting took place at Tahuna Park on Saturday. Jenny quickly passert the horses in front of her, and led all the way to the straight in the second round. She was then overhauled by Maori Girl, and breaking almost immediately afterwards allowed the latter to pass her. When about half way up the straight Maori Girl in turn broke, aud Jenny coming again passed her and got home about 20 yards ahead of Mr Samson's mare. Time, 2niin 57sec. Dividend, £16 10s. Mr W. Samson i lodged a protest against Jenny being declared | the winner on the ground of inconsistent running, but it was dismissed.
