The existence of a further statement by Bosher than the confession alieady published is not denied, but it is understood that the gaol authorities consider that, in the public interest, the details should not be published. It if, however, known that in this statement Bosher describes how he committed the murders, and added that the motive was robbery. He goes on to cay thai he secured no money, being disturbed aft»r the murders by someone knocking at the dcor. This was evidently when Miss Atkinson knocked, about 9 p.m., and bsars out the theory thit the murders were committed at 8.30.
