The Government have received a cable from their Agent-general stating that arrangements are being made to show that the nse of boracio acid in preservitas to preserve butter it injurious to health. Legal proceedings are threatened in conjunction with New Sonth Wales, New Zealand, and the other colonie*. London, February 25. The Agents-general of New South Wales, Victoria, and New Zaalasd have decided to defend the action brought by the health officer at Merthyr-Tydvil for selling butter injurious to health.
