IMPERIAL POLITICS.

London, February 24. Mr Chamberlain, in reply to a question tj, the House of Commons, said it was not intended to hold an Imperial conference when the colonial Premiers were in London, but the Impnrial Government will take advantage of the opportunity to discuss matters of common interest. Up to the present he had received replies from five Premiers, and was awaiting the reply of the I sixth before taking further action.
