SALE OF A WAIPORI PROPERTY.

Our Waipoii correspondent writes :— " Negotiations for the sale of the O.P.Q. reef have been going on for some time, and on Friday last the purchase was completed at a price satisfactory to the vendors. The mouey was paid over by Mr Robert Andrew, who represents a London syndicate. The property comprises 80 acres along the line of reef, and a valuable water-right of 25 heads out of the Waipori River. Work will be started immediately both on the reef and on the waterrace. It is probable that electricity will be a factor in the development of thin property, as the syndicate above referred to have acquired the optiou of purchasing the rights to the falls in the Waipori Gorge whore a practically unlimited generating power can easily be obtained."
