THE CINEMATOGRAPHS.
The einematographe continues to attract and to astonish a large number of patrons, and has caught oh as effectually as did the phonograph when exhibited in the City Hall. Only one opinion is expressed of these moving pictures, and that is that they are truly wonderful. The new programme comprises 12 capital items. The New York street scene is a very striking one, but tb<ra the others that follow are equally good. An almost too realistic pictorial enactment of the exepution of Mary Queen of Scot 3 creates a very vivid impression of Ithat event, ana the burning of Joan of Arc is of a similar character) Then the wrestling dog 3, the fencing women, and the skirt dancer (a coloured picture, the colours of which change repeatedly), and the Gaiety girls a,nd Trilby burlesque "are other notable subjects, 'which in their way are quite as realistic and muoh move entertaining. The einematographe entertainment is not likely soon to be closed for lack of patronage.
