Auckland, November 23Dear Pasquin,— Delohery, Craydon,, and Hoiland's Variety Company finished their season at the Opera House on Saturday, showing to a large audience, the downstairs portion being packed. Eva Leete.has greatly improved in her singing since the company's last visit. The young lady has to sing her serio-comics four or five times before the audience is satisfied. . Amongst the comedians Johnny Collins is the favourite with everybody. Amongst the- performers on' Saturday night were Alf. Diamond and Mike Mahers. Jim Anderson (gymnast) will be tendered a benefit at the City Hall on Saturday, 28th. j Alfred Woods'a Dramatic Company will open at ' the Opera House shortly in " Hands Across the Sea." The company is a fairly strong one, and includes Misses Beryl Temple, Millie Richardson, Marie Milton, Emily Gresham, Messrs George Melville. Coghlan, Boothman, J. A,. Pattersoa, Marshall, Norbett, Marsland, Manning, Barrett, and Hy. Willard. - Miss Celia Dampier'a complimentary concert was a great success. The houso waa packed ftll over.
