THE WELLINGTON SHOW.

Bx Canis. The Wellington A. and P. Association having affiliated with the New Zealand Kennel Club, held a show of dogs in conjunction with their annual show on Thursday, the 19th inst., and attracted a very respectable entry. Mr A. Grant Clifford judged, and gave every satisfaction. The priza list was as follows t — Collie dog (open class).— First and special, Harrison and Horrax's Champion He*dwick; W. Parker's Glenelg 2, F. Matthews's RoyAl Tar 3. Bitch.— Harrison and Horrax's Holmwood (imp.) 1, Mrs Still's Lady Gem 2, Harrison and Horrax's Haslemere 3. Puppy, dopr or bitch.— Mrs Still's Lady Gem 1, H. Bligh's British Workman 2, F, Matthews's 3. • Smooth collies, dofc or bitch.— H. Scale's Crib 1, S. R. Lancaster's LolO 2. Irish terrier dog.— H. M. Didsbury's Portglonone Sprig.' Irish terrier bitches.— H. M. Didsbury's Shield 1, T. "Coveney's Aroon 2, W. E. Laney's Vain Glory 3. • Irish terrier puppies, dogs and bitches.— N.q award. Setters (any variety). — Harrison -and- Hoi-rex's Croydon Charlie 1, F. G. Roach's ,Pat 2, T. G. L'eighton 3. Field spaniels.— A Clark's Midnight 1. Messrs Harrison and Horrax gained the £2 2s trophy for most points. 1 I enclose you the judge's report. By the Otarama there arrived a very nice pair of bulldogs (dog and bitch), consigned to Mr Tegner of this city, and we are badly in want of some quality in the above breed.
