RACING IN NEW ZEALAND.
DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB'S RA.CBS. Second Day— Friday, November 27. - The Spring meeting of the Dunedin Jookey Club was continued on the Forbury racecourse on Friday. The weather was fine and warm, but the attendance was below, the average. "The amount passed through the totalisator 'during the day was £4393, and the sum . handled' on the second day of last year's Spring meetiog was £5078. There was thus a decline of £685 in the investments as compared with ■last year's figures, but the shrinkage may be said to have been wholly attributable to the . lack of a contest for one of the prinoipal events .of the meeting. The starting was in every instance satisfactory — the fields, it is true, were in most oases email, — and again commendable punctuality was observed. Details of the racing : — CRITERION STAKES.
