bs of vise. Daffodil. — (1) Applying a little vaseline to the eyebrows and cutting them occasionally will, it is said, have the effect of thickening them. (2) To avoid a shining skin wash your laca at night instead of in the morning. (3) For making the hair grow, cure dandmff if present by using 10 per cent, oleate of mercury ointment, previously washing the hair with. soft soap and water. Then rub in the following : Powdered cantharide3 ldr, lanollne 4dr, vaseline 4dr. (4) Diet ypurself, taking, fruit, vegetables,, soup, porridge, etc., and atop •taking'pilla, etc. J.
