The Taieri Bowling Club's delegates have been instruoted to. support annual bowling tournaments— at Christohurch and Dunedin alternately. OTAGO GOLF CLUB.

The monthly competition for the St. Andrew's cross was played last Saturday, the players numbering 18. Owing to tho recent heavy rain the links were interspersed with what is known as "casual water," and this tended greatly to increase a number of ecores, eapecially on the putting greens. Oa tbe cards being handed in it was fouud that Mr W. C. MacGwgor was the winner with a net score of 95, Mr J. O. Kettle being second with 96 net.
