DUNEDIN FANCIERS' CLUB.

The lasb meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Fanciers' Club was attended by Messrs Myers (chairman), Jowitt, Williams, Sbratton, Kerr, Freed, Howcfch, Laing, P. Aibken, Ross, , Brown, A. Mathews, Thomas, and M'lndce. The secretary of the Riverton Poultry Society wrote that his society required 50 coops for their show. The Beoretary said he had despatched them. Mesßrs Triggs, Stevens, Brown, and Bannister, all of Wellington, wrote regarding entties from there, Mr Brown stating that there would be 73 entries for dog-i alone. — Received. The tender of the Garrison; Band to play in the streets on the three nights of the show was accepted. The tepott of the committee who were appointed to interview the traffic manager of the railways re reduced farce from the country was favourable, and' the secretory was instructed to communicate with him by letter. Mr Jowitt reported that during his recent visit to Ohristchurch the proprietors ofi the Freeing Works, in Cbriutohurch had promised to send- for exhibition! a couple, of dressed frozen fowls, which, would show to breeders the manner in which they should be prepared for export;. The thanks of the. committee were unanimously accorded, to those who had-takenso much interest in this particular olaia. The seccetftrj; reported that the;
