GRAIN AND SEED REPORT.
Messrs William E. Reynolds and Co., Bond street, report for the week ending 17th June 1896 as follows :—
Wheat keeps steady and a fairly good demand Is exte-ienced, espe. ially for vistvefc. We quotes Prime velvet, up to 3> lid ; Tuscan, up to 3s j9d. Oats ate easier, and only a moderate demand holds out. Buyers are only buying sufficient fox immediate orders, and very little speculation w going on. We do not anticipate ' auy mateilftf decline, and are in hopes of the market advancing later on, but at present it is difncult to predicts We quote : Prime milling, up to Is lid (choice, 2s) ; prime feed, Is 9d to Is §Jd ; good sound, Is B*d to Is B}d; medium, 1b B<l. Potatoes ara higher, and prime saniples are worth up to £3 6j Jmedium, £2 10s to £2 153. Chaff is fairly steady, • and prime is worth £2 15s : good, £2 103 to £2 12a Bd. Skins : We will hold a sale of these next week, and as markets are firm we anticipate good competition and price?. Our new store oflfetg every facility for the display of these.
