ITALY AND THE BRITISH FLEET. .
Rome, Jane 14. There is great enthusiasm at Rome over the visit of the British fleet. The Pope invited the sailors to attend mass in the Sistine Chapel. London, June 15. The Queen and Marquis of Salisbury sent messages to the King of Italy thanking himself, the Government, and the people of Italy for the splendid reception accorded to the British fleet. . * The Pope blessed and entertained 100 of the sailors, by whom he was loudly oheered.
