The Feilding Star of the 11th inst. laya t— - "Ltst evening the member* of the Feilding Wiuter Bowling Club opened a rink in the Assembly Rooms on felt. Although the felt vras floinewhib rough and uneven <n comparison with the green, a moat interesting game wai played, and the enthusiasts who have formed the rink expect that with a little wear and farther rolling the felt will be fUttaned out better and lie smoother. A friendly and most enjoyablt, match was played between the following : — J. Soott, A. R. Curtis, P. Thomson (t), who defeated E Goodbohere, G. H. Sajwdll. aid Yates (s) by 11 to 9 "
