THE NEW ZEALAND ROWING REPRESENTATIVES. Wellington, June 2.
The" New Zealand rowing team, with the exception of Daly, arrived from Sydney by the Wakxtipu. They state that the arrangements in connection with the intercolonial contests were m< sb imperfect, and that the regattas in New Zealand are very much better managed. Considerable- dissatisfaction was expressed with the umpire's ruling in regard to the foul, particularly as at the dinner that official remarked that if he knew at the time what he learned after the race his decision migbt have been different. Mr Bus etatea that New Zealand practically gained her point in regard to the amateur definition, and that in future contests the only men barred will be " cash amateurs." The other oolonies promised to visit New Zealand next year to contest the intercolonial fours. '
